FAQ

How to access the playtest?

  • You may have gotten your key already via our partner Intel: nicely done! Redeem it on Steam and start parking in Multiplayer mode starting March 25th.
  • You’ve participated in Alpha One, our previous playtest: you already have access to it on Steam if you redeemed your key back then.

What is this playtest?

This playtest will allow you to try out the multiplayer mode of You Suck at Parking. Starting March 25th, until April 3rd.  You will have access to a packed customization tool with 50 attachment options available, different vehicles, and paints. +10 levels will be available to play, randomly picked for each match.

This is the second round of testing for the multiplayer mode of You Suck at Parking. It also serves as a stress test and helps the dev team in their work to deliver the best parking experience for when the game launches. Please don’t hesitate to report bugs that you may encounter, and remember that this is an Alpha version.

What is the Multiplayer mode?

When launching an Online Game from the main menu, you enter a lobby along with 8 other players. You may need to wait a bit in the lobby for other players to arrive, but you can see how many other players are waiting. Once everyone is parked in the lobby, the countdown to start the match appears.  Each round, be the quickest to complete the level by parking on every spot as fast as possible to get a good rank. The fastest parkster on all rounds wins!

I’ve never played You Suck at Parking before :(

No worries! You’ll have access to a practice level to get familiar with the controls and mechanics. If the Multiplayer isn’t in session yet, you will get access to the single-player mode.  You can also take our demo on Steam for a spin, and test the single-player mode on a wide variety of levels.

How to use your key?

On the bottom left corner of your Steam client on PC, click Add a Game and Use a product key. You will then be able to enter the key that was sent to you and install the game. If you get an error message that says the app is unreleased yet, don’t panic, it’s on our side. The build may be up and down again, it happens. Just try again a bit later, and don’t forget to check the above schedule to know when to start playing!

Can I stream the Alpha?

We won't allow streaming for this playtest. If you'd like to be informed on future programs and events as a content creator, please get in touch with contentcreators@happyvolcano.com. We will make sure you'll be the first in the know and that you have everything you need to enjoy and stream the game in the future.

How to provide feedback on the playtest and get support?

You can use our usual channels on Discord, in the Feedback & Support section. You will also have access to a dedicated section for Alpha Players with a feedback channel. A survey will be sent to you after the test so you can share your feedback and answer some very important questions. Please fill it out to help the dev team!

If you need support or need to report a bug, use the bug-report channel or the tool available in-game (press B at any point in the game). If you need further assistance, please contact support@happyvolcano.com.
