Introducing You Suck at Parking™️: Alpha One

Prepare to take part in the world’s most extreme parking experience in You Suck at Parking™, as we are launching a special week of Alpha Testing. In this Alpha One test, you'll be able to try every level available at launch, over two biomes, grass and snow! Get your parking skills ready for December 17th!

Alpha One will feature:

• A truckload of levels
• Grass & Snow biomes overworlds
• Mastery islands: special islands in the overworld to unlock for more parking challenges
• Car Customization tool: pick your color and grab a beanie, it's cold outside!
• Leaderboards for Alpha Parksters only!

DISCORD CHALLENGE

We thought we could spice things up to get things even more interesting! Launching the Alpha you will have to pick a team and achieve goals in the game that we will reveal before the start of the test. You'll have access to a private channel for your team to organize and share tips and tricks to get on the road to success! The winning team will be rewarded with exclusive in-game prizes.

FAQ 

What is Alpha one?

Alpha One is a playtest of You Suck at Parking taking place starting December 17th. In this test, you'll have access to all the levels available at launch. That's more than a hundred levels in the grass and snow biomes. You'll be able to customize your car and progress in the game, climb the leaderboards and take part in our Discord Contest (optional) by joining a team when launching the Alpha.

How to access it?

Register here before December 16th and you will receive a key to access Alpha One through Steam before it launches. [EDIT: sign-ups are closed]

How to use the key? 

On the bottom left corner of your Steam client on PC, click Add a Game and Use a product key. You will then be able to enter the key that was sent to you and launch Alpha One.

What time?

The Alpha will be live starting December 17th at noon CET. It will be available to play for a few days on Steam.

Can I stream the Alpha? 

We won't allow streaming for Alpha One. If you'd like to be informed on future programs and events as a content creator, please get in touch with contentcreators@happyvolcano.com. We will make sure you'll be the first in the know and that you have everything you need to enjoy and stream the game in the future. 

What is the Discord Contest? 

The Discord Contest is linked to the Alpha One build. When launching the build, you’ll be asked to pick a team (yellow or blue). You will be able to join a private channel for your team to discuss tips and strategies. With your team, you’ll have to perform the best on those three challenges: 

• Most parking spots
• Most perfected levels
• Longer Distance

The team that performs the best on at least 2 challenges will win the contest. 

One achievement will be individual: Dopest move. The dev team will be the jury of the best move in the game performed by a player and shared through a GIF/a video in Discord or on social media. 

The winning team will receive a special in-game attachment to redeem when the game launches. The Dopest Move winner will receive You Suck at Parking™️ swag. The Discord Contest will take place from December 17th, noon CET to December 21st, midnight CET. Developers won’t participate but they will be available from time to time in Discord and both team’s channels during the event.

How to provide feedback on Alpha One and get support? 

You can use our usual channels on Discord, in the Feedback & Support section. You will also have access to a dedicated section for Alpha One participants with a feedback channel. If you need support or need to report a bug, use the bug-report channel or the tool available in-game (press B at any point in the game).
